This bilingual (Spanish-English) exhibit, opened on the 35th anniversary of the Revolution, and featured a collection of original, official Sandinista posters published and distributed in Nicaragua during the tumultuous 1980s. The turnout was fantastic and led to an extension of the exhibit.

Nicaragua Film & Music Night

Casa Canadiense proudly presented a film and live music fundraising evening in celebration of the 34th anniversary of the triumph of the Nicaraguan Revolution. It was a special twin bill movie presentation of The World is Watching (1989) and My Village My Lobster (2012) followed by an evening of live music, live auction and raffle prizes.

Conveniently co-hosted by the Revue Cinema and the Gate 403 Jazz Club on funky Roncesvalles Ave.
