Casa has a lengthy history in fundraising events, or “fun raising” events, and educational/awareness raising events. Such events over the years have included numerous auction/brunches, folk music festivals, art shows, films and discussion, and presentations and outreach in various community venues: churches, schools, coffee shops, cafes and bars. Raffle Draw at Gate 403 Roncesvalles Ave, Torono ON. 6:00pm March 30, 2013: Come out and support Casa for a chance to win Leafs, Argos, Jays, and TFC tickets!
Jan 30, 2013: “My Village, My Lobster” film screening and potluck at Regis College. This new documentary is about the lobster fishing industry off of the Miskito Coast in Nicaragua. Turn out was fantastic and second screening was held at York University.
Oct 14, 2012: Casa completes the Scotiabank Run and holds an auction at Gate 403.
